10-Year Reunion
The following is a summary of all important information regarding the reunion.
When was the reunion?
- Friday-Saturday July 27-28, 2007
What were the events?
- Friday July 27:
- 5-8pm: mixer at LHS courtyard w/cookies, punch and tours of the school
- 8pm: drinks at The Library (1701 TX Ave) — this is a 21+ event
- Saturday July 28:
- 11am-2pm: BYOL (bring your own lunch) family picnic at Mackenzie State Park
- 7pm-12am: Dinner and dancing (with cash bar) at the United Spirit Arena, 1701 Indiana Ave — this is a 21+ event, tickets required
- 11pm: show at Jake’s (5025 A 50th St) with Jabarvy (featuring Andy Harn, Ryan Jones, and Meg Kemp), Icarus Fixed (featuring Noel Ramirez), and the return of Sgt. Steve Monday (featuring Zac Garth and sort of Andrew Duhan) — this is an 18+ event, $5 (over 21) / $7 (under 21) at the door
High school was a long time ago. Why should I go to the reunion?
- Catch up with old friends
- Reconnect with your lost love
- Networking — Members of our class have a wide range of jobs, so you might find the artist, engineer, doctor, lawyer, programmer, tattoo artist, etc. that you’re looking for. Who knows, you might even find someone who can give you a job.
Can I go to just one/some of the events?
- Yes! Come to as many as you want to; everyone is welcome to all of these events, but we understand that not everyone will be able to attend each of them.
Are spouses/significant others and/or families welcome?
- Yes! Spouses/significant others are invited to all events. Children are invited to the Friday night tour/mixer and to the Saturday picnic. Please bear in mind that individual tickets will have to be purchased for everyone attending the Saturday evening dinner.
Who is going?
- Check here for a reasonably up-to-date list of who will be at the reunion.
How much does it cost? — Only the dinner/dancing event on Saturday night costs anything — all other events are free. Ticket prices vary until mid-July.
$35/person until 6/15/07$40/person until 6/30/07$45/person until 7/14/07- NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER 07/14/07 IN ORDER TO GIVE FINAL COUNTS TO THE CATERER
How do I get tickets?
- Tickets are available here through Paypal.
- Tickets can also be purchased by money order from Wendi Coats. Contact her for details.
- R.S.V.P. now, even if you aren’t attending or if you plan to pay later.
What is the meal for the Saturday night dinner?
- Entrées: choice of 7 layer meat lasagna, chicken fettuccini alfredo, or vegetarian lasagna
- Sides: Caesar salad, garlic breadsticks, Italian mixed veggies
- Dessert: Cheesecake
- Drinks: tea and water, cash bar will be available
